Well it was an interesting day!

It took an hour and a half to get out of the house; in order to go for a dog walk! Madam W was a major stroppy pants!(more about that in a future post) Exceedingly stressful!!!

Anyways we did eventually get out into the beautiful winter's morning.

We had fun climbing trees, tracking prints in the mud; horse shoes, dog prints and a yet to be discovered print. We then became wizards with a staff and wand; zapping trees and creating barriers.


After lunch we played games with phonics. We used these cool cards I got from a charity shop last week and some buttons as a fun reward. We created 2D shapes out of colourful lollipop sticks.

A relaxing afternoon. By implementing more fun into the learning, W engaged a lot more and was super keen to learn! She does LOVE buttons!!!
